The League of Nations
The purpose of the League of Nations was to be an in international association whose goal was to keep peace among the nations that it supported. The League of Nations was an international peace organization. The enemy and the neutral nations were excluded. The League of Nations was made after adopting Wilson's 14th point about "genernal association of nations". This shows Wilson's hope for an organization that could peacefully negotiate solutions to world issues.
Germany and Russia were excluded from the League of Nations. Germany, The defeated nation lost a great amount of territory and had harsh restrictions placed on it's military operation. This act was Article 231, known as "war guilt clause". It put harsh responsiblity on Germany. As a result Germany had to pay money to the Allies.
Most of the Germany territories were taken away from them. Germany lost the war. So therefore, the Allies took the land of Germany.
I choose this eassy to wite about beacuse I felt that the League of Nations had a great impact on many nations around the world. Due to Wilson's 14th point about "general association of nations", that brought many nations to adapt to the League of Nations. I have learned many things about the League of Nations. Before we did the chapter about the League of Nations, I did not know about them in the sense of social studies. I learned about Wilson's 14th point and I learned something valuable about each other countries and how they benefited and how they struggled through the League of Nations
